Town Hall of the Gods

Originally, this modular level was intended to be an old cathedral, rundown yet kept tidy by its followers. It eventually evolved into something reminiscent of a town hall. With the lighting, I decided to make this a meeting place for gods and goddesses to gather. Making a modular level was fairly simple, aside from making sure things were lined up properly inside the engine. I do wish I either had more creative freedom with the floor plan, or just had more time to put into it. This final result seems a bit unfinished and empty, and I wanted to add more props. As far as materials go, once I figured out how to use Substance Designer, I was quickly getting what I needed. I had a chance to use Alchemist as well, which is how the tile texture was created. I'm very satisfied with the result. Lighting was probably my biggest struggle. Trying to balance each lights' parameters so that they didn't wash each other out was difficult.
