Shadowfury

Shadowfury, a weapon fit for the strongest of Vikings. Its design is based off of traditional weapons during the reign of Vikings.

The final product with an IRay render exported from Substance Painter.

This is a Viking's Axe, named Shadowfury, fit for a fantasy environment.

Textures have been applied.

A high resolution version.

A game resolution version with normal and ambient occlusion maps.

This began with gathering several examples of axes with various designs and accents to the blade and handle. I also did some research on runes so the axe's name can be etched in the maps later.
